i agree that having the sec split up makes things more complicated but then how would you determine who plays in the conference championship?


and the butt hurt comment was mainly directed to the people complaining about their team not making it into BCS championship game...like really get the fuck over it

 

SOOOOO much butt hurt. It's hilarious. And I'm not sure what you're talking about the SEC E/W screwin everything up. You can't have 12 (now 14) teams in a conference without having different sub-conferences. Here's the deal, Okie, if you would have taken care of business against an UNRANKED 6-6 IOWA STATE team, you would be playing for the championship. You have no one to blame but yourself. That was all you had to do. And you blew it. So stop your crying and watch the SEC win 6 in a row. Maybe next year you'll actually get to be IN the game when the SEC wins #7.

yeah i was pretty pissed too. but i was actually pretty happy with the way we played during the 1st half. it has been a long time since UGA could put a whole game together haha but one day it will happen and shit will get serious

I don't know what everybody is complaining about. The BCS seems to be working just fine to me..................

It's been a nerve wracking day. Early on, twitter started leaking that the various components were lining up to give Alabama the rematch, but I was anxious enough that I almost vomited as they counted down from 10 on the BCS show.

That was a bit uncalled for, but thanks for wishing us luck!

Do you honestly think that Oklahoma State could have beaten La State? I don't know that we can beat them, but I know the 107th ranked defense couldn't stop them, and their defense would have shut you down. Your coach made me laugh out loud with his "39-36" comment last night. No way the Cowboys could have broken 30 against that defense.

I don't think anybody could argue that a +1 system would be better. Obviously it would, and maybe this year will help bring one about. For now, though this is what we have, and it (IMO) is better than what we had before.

Anyway, maybe T Boone can pour some more money into the program and keep them at this level and you'll get another shot soon.

 

a pointless bowl game just like OKS is playing in. if your team is not playing in the national championship then you game does not matter. i don't give a shit about preseason rankings. whop-de-do if a team is ranked number 1 preseason because it means absolutely nothing

 

We're playin the #2 team in the Big Ten in the Outback bowl. You get to play (and beat) Stanford. But just think...beat Iowa St and you play big boy football on Jan 9...

 

Yeah I actually laughed a litttle myself. Anyways, I'm done bitching, my team has never made it this far and just wish they had a shot at the title jsut as any of you would if it was your team in the same position, Good luck to them all
