Intake Silencers?

    I was reading over the deckplate mods and was wonder if the silencers in the vacuum hose restrict air flow at all? Is it possible and what are the results of removing the silencers (performance, sound, etc)?

    2019 Rubicon 4 Door,
    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    They dont affect the air flow. If you remove them, you will just get more noise. No performance gain.

    I see on one tutorial that the mod calls for a screen to help keep debris out of the deckplate hole, is that necesary?
