Your truck looks awesome! I'm wondering the same thing on what exactly you have to trim. Do you have any pics of what/where you cut?

Love the tires and truck. Great job so far! May I suggest blacking out the tacoma side emblems!

Awesome build man! That demello bumper looks great. I'm pretty jealous of your sliders. :D

Truck is coming along great! Can you get a side shot of how it is now on a flat/level surface? I'm interested in getting a bumper for my truck but I dont plan on lifting it unless its coils/billies to hold up the extra weight of the bumper. Please and Thank You!

Nice truck as everyone above has said. Why did you plastidip the ATO bars though? Seems like that paint would get rubbed off as fast as you put it on. :notsure:

Sorry haven't had a chance to get a side shot yet. Been drizzling and raining the past 2 days here. I will tell you though that it is indeed level right now. But, I would bet that there will eventually be a little sag in the front. I already have the Bilstiens. Just have to get them installed. I will install them with just the 0.85" rise. Just enough to compensate for any sag. Think I may just go ahead and get the OME Coils as well and have them installed along with the Billies.

No lift. It is all stock ride right now. Don't have any plans for a lift. Don't do any off-roading. Like the look of the big tires on a stock height truck. Will be putting Billies on front to help compensate if it starts to sag a bit in the future from the bumper. Right now, it is spot on.

I won't lie and say there isn't any road noise from the Hankooks because there is. However it is not very much and it is completely drowned out by my Magnaflow exhaust any more anyway! LOL! That Magnaflow sounds sweet. For the first month it did have a little bit of the "ricer" sound to it being a V6 and all. After a couple of months now, it has really toned down and has a nice little grumble. Love it. At some point I will get a couple of sound bites of it and put it on here.

In all truth, it's because it is what I had on me at the time. But I have now used them all summer long and they don't look any worse for wear than when I first plasti-dipped them. When they need a another coat I will most likely just use the same Camo Black that I used on the sliders. It is very durable. They get a lot of use, so I don't plan on them not getting nicked up quite a bit anyway. As far as usefulness goes, I think they are the single best buy I have made for the truck. Even over the sliders and bumper! They should come standard on the trucks. They are extremely versatile! They will support any amount of weight that your bedside will allow and still give you full access to the bed. I have a cheap bed netting from walmart that has clips on the corners that I use with a lot of stuff. I will often just chunk stuff in the back and slide one rail down throw the net over it all and clip it down and BAM! Nothing goes flying out of the bed. Then it folds back up in 30 secs. I could just go on-and-on how much I love them. Well worth every penny.

Your tires look huge for 265s. Are you wheels 17x9?

Got a link for those ATO Bed Bars, need a pair for my kayak and bike mounts.

I'm on board with the stock height as well. Even the same color... :)
    Awesome build!

Oh and most of your flickr photos are down, any chance to re-up?
Would love to see them as my build is pretty much exactly the same as yours.

Here is a link to the ATO bars: Armor-Tech Offroad

Thanks for the compliments. Very proud of my truck. The only thing that would make me happier is to add about 50-75 horses to it. When pulling my giant Bad Boy ZTR Mower around it sweats a little.

Sorry about the photos. I cleaned up my Flickr page recently and those were some I took off. I will try to get them back on my build page soon.

Also now have my Bilsteins on the front and it is riding goooood!

What size do you have the billies at? front and rear?

Did you have any modification to the square bars for your Thule gear?
( I'm running all Yakima round bars and mounts)

Billies are front only and are at 0.85". Just enough to compensate for the little bit of sag from the DeMello bumper. No mods on bars. The Thule racks fit perfectly on the square bars. If u need any extra pics or anything I would be happy to take some and email them to u.
