Updated Lift Pictures and Extras

Since I created a build thread, I decided to delete everything out of the original post. I'm leaving the pictures and specs of my lift since people are still trying to figure out what is wrong with my measurements. Thanks for any help.

hey truck looks awesome. im thinking of running the same set up on my truck. you have the shocks set to .85 and a set of old man emus how much total lift did you get. could you also measure from the front wheel hub to the bottom of your fender so i can compaire and see how much lift i would get. i wont a full 3" of lift. i have a ready lift sst right now on my truck and it said i was susposed to get 2.75" of lift but i only got 2" out of it. so im trying to find a good option to get what im looking for. again truck looks awesome.

From the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender, my truck is at 24" on all four corners.

holy shit!?!?! 24" i got screwed i barely have 22". im for sure getting a new lift. i knew i was low but my god. well thanks for your help for sure makes my decision a lot easier.

 

Ok, a few people have said something now about my measurements. Let me make sure I'm doing this right.. Don't I just put the tape measure at the center of the wheel (dead center of center cap) and measure to the bottom of the fender flare? If that's how I'm supposed to do it, what should my measurements be at?

 

Truck looks good, do you have any vibes after the lift? Also, are your cv boots rubbing at all? I have the same lift on order, but I think I'm going to skip the 1/4 spacer just to reduce the cv angle a bit.

What's going on here guys!? Had it installed last Wednesday, so surely it's not going to settle much more, and definitely not an entire inch!

 

24" up front is huge , that's like 3 1/2 - 4" of lift over stock .

Do you have a 4x4 OP ?

 

Haven't really had it long enough to notice of the boots are rubbing. Only vibes I've noticed are a very slight one when coming to a stop, around 10-15 mph. I do have the ToyTec carrier bearing drop installed, but I don't have my ToyTec axle shims installed yet. As far as the 1/4 spacer, I ordered it because I was under the assumption that the 885's provide a little over 2" of lift, and the spacer provided the remainder needed to achieve 3" of lift.

But in answer to the question, I do have 4x4. And I just can't figure out what's wrong. I'm reading that I should be at roughly 23". Is something wrong that y'all can tell in the pictures?

 

Something doesn't add up .

I measured my truck before and after installing 885's and I got 2 1/2" with no top spacer putting me at 22 1/2" hub to fender .

You added the 1/4" spacers which should get you another 1/2" , theoretically putting you at around 23" hub to fender for 3" of lift , but you are a full inch higher than that at 24" .

Any chance the billies are set at .85 ?

Just went outside to check. There are THREE visible notches on the 5100, which means the spring perch is resting on the fourth notch, correct? Isn't there only 4 settings on them? Or is the one it is sitting on the .85" setting?

 

Never seen the point in what? Keeping a gun in the truck or having a gun period?
