    I'm still wrestling with the decision of either sleeping inside my truck.. Or bringing a tent.. Tent would def be way more comfortable.. Just gotta bring an assload of blankets

    If you wear sweats and a sweatshirt to bed and have a good sleeping bag with some extra blankets should be good that's what I did when I camped Yosemite its not like the truck is gonna be aloy warmer

    I found a tent for 30 bucks that fits in the bed of short bed truck with the tail gate down that ill be getting later this month that way if u park the truck right the bed will help with some wiind

    Reminds me of camping in La Posta during the middle of winter- fuckin freezing but very possible if bundled correctly. I know Martha will NOT wanna take that route though.

    sleeping in the bed bundled up... It requires a stationary position all night. One movement onto a cold portion of the bedding and you're frozen all over again.

    Is the Main Pit Area right there off of Sidewinder road? before Lenwood? Looking around online sent me to the Main Pit's facebook page which pointed out a large open space off the 15, off of Sidewinder Rd. Roughly: 34.812N, 117.108W

    Take the 15N, exit Outlet Center Dr. and make a Right, then about half a mile down the road make a right into the OHV area, Main Pit runs along the base of the hill that you will see in front of you...
