I have to admit I was suprised...thought we would be playing in Atlanta...
Good luck to Auburn....UVA is actually a decent team, their new coach Mike London has turned that team around (from 4-8 to 8-4)...He took the Richmond Spiders and won the NC NCAA Div 1 FCS in 2008.

By the numbers we both match up well.....only slight difference is our points allowed per game. But we have a pretty consistant history of laying down, lower than whale shit in a bowl game. :D

Yeah, hopefully our experience in bowl games and still having Osborne around will help us win. At least we didn't play you guys already this season. Nothing was worse than playing Washington 3 times in 13 months.

As much as I love my wolverines....they dont deserve a BCS bowl game, but ill take it. Now to stop that giant of a QB VT has....oh and wilson....
I hope the big ten has a good showing in the bowl games and doesnt lay an egg. There are a couple games against SEC teams, would be nice to get a couple of those wins. Realistically, I think MSU can beat UGA (waiting for backlash) and NU vs SCAR I think will go to carolina. If you stop Burkehead, you have nebraska stopped cause Martinez cant throw for crap. Northwestern, if Persa plays, could give A&M a run for its money, especially if A&M gets out to a 21 point lead by half. Then its anyones game.

Hope we can give yall a run for the money...if our O coordinator pulls his head out of his a#$ and calls more plays with Wilson, we will have a chance...and if our O line decides they want to block!! Anyway good luck!!

Thanks! We will need it. There has to be a dramatic change in the way Auburn's D and O plays imo to get a win.

yes sir....right back at you! Always love to see a good game. Hope that Denard doesnt try to win the game with his arm....hes not a QB. lol. Michigan's defense is much improved, but i dont know if they can handle VT's offense. We will see.

Could you imagine if that was the case in the SEC this year and Alabama/La State met in the SECC game on Saturday and Alabama won a close one? The same two teams would end up in the BCS NC for a third game to decide it all. Everybody would hate the SEC (as if they don't already).

I heard Malzahn interviewed for the UNC job. Did I make that up? Getting him out of town would be good for y'all, IMO. His system worked fine with Cam. Unless you have another Cam coming along, I think you're in for some long seasons with him as OC.

I'm not sure. I've heard all sorts of things around here. I think it was Reese Davis that said last night even I could be a better coach with No. 2 on the field. I completely agree with that comment and with you. He looked like a genius with Newton but not so much without him. I know we have a whole lot of rebuilding to do and I believe we faired better than most would have thought this year. I don't know if it has been lack of talent or lack of play calling. I think it's a combination of both. It has been the consensus in this office that the play calling was completely uninspired this year. I can't think of one instance where we threw the ball downfield on a 3rd down. Seems like everything was thrown to a back out of the backfield for a 1 yd gain or a 5 yd loss. Don't even get me started on Ted Roof. Our defense has continuously gone downhill since he has been running the D. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if they both left imo.

Pretty sure he did (interview), I think he and the AD at NC have some ties. Trying to think where I read that, AL.com maybe.
As far as him leaving, not sure yet. He fielded a pretty good offense with Chris Todd, but AU had a pretty good o-line that year. I'm not a Mosely fan boy, but, he can't do much from his back. Willing to give him one more year, Roof on the other hand, needs to go coach in the PAC. They no nothing about defense either.
