Sounds like it's time for YOU to sell your truck! LOL

To the OP. Keep the truck. Do you really like her or do you mostly like having sex? Imagine that you couldn't have sex anymore .... Would you still wanna stay with her?

OP, Don't do it man. The truck will serve you better. I would not get rid of the truck for that reason. If you can't have both and need to make a choice, take the truck. Of course my view is a little biased I guess. I got married when I was 22. Spent 23 years with her and had two kids with her. I was planning on spending my life with this girl. She decided she wanted someone else and broke up my family, hurt the kids, etc..., wouldn't even go to counseling for the kids sake. It was all about her.

I was stupid and thought she would do right by the kids and me. When the subject comes up, I tell everyone now to not get married until late 20's or early 30's, if at all, lol. People change and what you think is not what she thinks. Always remember they are women and are fucked up in the head. Now I have a different view of women. They are only good for two things.......................sex and stress.

Either tits or wheels because down the road you're bound to have trouble with them. Don't let the little head override the big one.

X2 You are way to young to get married, go travel and have fun then in 10 or so years you can think about getting married.

    Intresting thread.

I don't believe being married is obsolete.

I do think one of the most rewarding things in life is having kids.

I don't think there should be any rush in getting married.

I think if you have to liqudate assets to get married you are setting yourself up for problems down the road.

I think at 22 what you want will change over the next several years.

I think at 31 she has other things on het mind....body clock?

I wonder where is her house...what has she been doing for 31 years?

I wonder if she'll try to trade you in on a younger dude in a few years...what was the attraction between an 18 year old boy and a 27 year old lady.

In the end, if your first post was serious, you need to put your plans on hold. You have questions...

In the end, only YOU can decide what you do and YOU have to live with your choice. But don't lie to yourself about the situation....good or bad.

The thing I'd be most concerned about is having cash problems before you're hooked up and one of you being very mature...WTH?

Keep the truck and her if you really love her bro. Use the Truck to make some extra money to pay off your bills. Then you can afford to get married. Let's see some pics of the truck you're talking about.

He hasn't replied in awhile. I think he's busy ending a 4 year relationship. Good job guys.

It's probably started something like this...

Her-"What baby I thought we were getting married?"
Him-"Yea me too but I asked some strangers online about me selling the truck like you told me to do and they all told me you're mentally unstable."
Her-"Oh you and that stupid website"
Him-"Well let's face it, in a few years I'll still be a young stud and you'll be having hot flashes"

I don't know what happens after this...

22 = Young, Dumb, and full of ...... Don't even think about marriage dude!

I've been married for 5 years, together with her for 10. We wouldn't even be married if we didn't have to be (she's German) for her to live in the States.

Kids? Yeah, not until at least 30. American women are crazy, that's why I married a European. If she wants kids then get her a puppy.

Do not give up anything, be selfish.

My personal opinion is ditch her. Oh and

Ok here is my two "cents" a i hope it doesnt offend anyone TRUCK and the reason...ok short story time, in 2008 i graduated high school and thats also when they did a few changes to the Tacoma and i really wanted one but didnt have the funds, started college got a girl, then in 2010 i joined the Air Force, was going to marry here then got sent to Korea for a yea, after a few months she was with someone who was my bestfriend for 14 years, then i found out...I was pissed then said o well and the money i had saved for a houses for us when i got back to the states became a down payment and the money i was planning for rent each month became a truck payment, now i have a 2011 TRD Sport, a truck i have been wanting since 2008 and its still at home waiting for me and not being "drove" by someone else :woot::D

After reading this I'm wondering why anyone on here ever got married, haha, we all seem to be in the same boat.

DON'T DO IT..... yet.... give it time, enough time to pay off the truck and keep it.

If you can't have both at the same time, you're doing it wrong.
I must be the luckiest guy on here. My wife lets me spend money on home theater, transformers, my truck. whatever i want. As long as it's not drugs, hookers whatnot she doesn't care.
