So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
My GF can drive my truck. I don't mind. Well maybe a little nervous but she knows only bad things can come doing something stupid with my ride.
She's actually a very good driver and had no problem with the manual transmission.

I let my wife drive my truck but she rarely does she thinks it's too big. I do get nervous in parking lots though, the Taco does not turn like a Corolla...

My GF doesn't drive my truck and has out right refused to lol she will stick with her RAV4. I would let her if she wanted to though it is after all just a car and lol if she curb checks or hits anything hey I get new rims or bumpers. :} As long as she is ok it doesn't matter thats what insurance is for.

i get nervous when anyone drives my truck (even the guys at the car wash and at the dealer), but i still let my wife drive it. i figure that i have to trust my spouse with everything including the truck. she knows how important it is to me and she takes care of it like i would.

My girlfriend drives a Mini Cooper. I would let her drive my truck if she wanted to, but I have seen her park the Mini and I don't think it would go all that well if she had to park the truck in a tight spot. LOL

I let my wife drive my truck once when her car was in the shop. She came back and said she "lost the backend". I freaked out for a minute, till she told me the back end spun out on her whilst turning a corner. Apparently it was my job to tell her it was a rwd truck.

    .
Spouse? What spouse? I've done 2000 mile road trips and I don't let a GF drive. My brother, who usually drives a flatbed tow truck, i will let him from time to time drive her down to get lunch from a jobsite, but that it, he knows i would kill anyone who hurt my truck, so i just save everyone the death and destruction and just don't do it.

i used to be like alot of people here not wanting anyone to drive my vehicles.

one day i bought a brand new vette. my wife (well, she was my gf at the time) drove me to the stealership to pick it up when it came in. it was a stick, and my wife knows to drive one. she asked me if i would let her drive it home. well, my dad once let me drive his brand new sports car off the dealer lot, so i figured why the hell not. she was so excited.

we get about 3 blocks from home and she takes a turn a little too tight and drives right over a concrete and metal sewer grate, taking out the rocker panel and the rear wheel. i almost shat myself.

i ran over to the car and she looked at me and tears started streaming from her face. i realized right then and there, she was more important to me than any vehicle would ever be. ever since then, i don't look at cars or trucks the same way anymore.

so yes, i let my wife drive my truck and am thankful it will protect her if the worst happens.

fun stuff coming soon! New battery, radiator and CV joints and axles. Added some Rancho RS5000 shocks.
i wouldnt be comfortable with him driving since he tears through the gears in his little car, and the gears are way different in our vehicles, mine are very close, his arent.

but i feel like he knows how much i baby my truck and would be careful with it...he still hasnt drove it though.

Mine can take the keys whenever she wants. Fortunately she hates sitting up that high (just wait till it's lifted, i say) and does not drive it unless the Audi is in service. I do however take the Audi out as much as possible, at high speeds. Gotta love those paddle shifters!:burnrubber:

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Yeah I let mine drive every so often most of the time on dirt roads nice and slow. She is way too jumpy to drive my truck at high speeds with no sway bar
