    This thanksgiving I for the first time tried some "White Lightning" Moonshine. A family member brought it up from W Virginia this year in the classic "Mason Jar". I will have to admit, it is serious, but I kinda liked it. It reminded me of drinking str8 Tequila. I can see the attraction.

    I dont believe moonshine is illegal in wv. Im pretty sure you can make up to 5 gallons for "personal use" without penalty.

    I believe most places in the south and up the Appalachians certain quantities are legal to make and keep for personal use. Here in Georgia its around a gallon maybe more.
