some of my bad dates inside

So in honor of my cheap date post, I figured I'd post some dates that...well...didn't work out. I can't remember all of them, so I will share what I have. I had kept a log on another site for the interested crowd there. I will now share them here for all to read I Will post their pictures at the end of the date descriptions for all to see.

Let the fun begin.

Girls I've dated

-Iowa girl
I dated this girl quite a ways back. We had a lot of fun. She lived in Iowa but was going to school about 20 mins from me. Her parents were super strict catholics, which meant she was ready to party. And we did, for about 4 months. Summer hit and she moved back home. We visited every weekend for a month and then she falls off the face of the planet, wtf? Find out she turned to drugs and started hanging with the “wrong crowd”. She ended up getting pregnant and having a son without a father. I talk to her about once every couple week now. Having the kid really turned her life around after she started down the wrong path.

-The Nurse
Ahhh, the nurse. She had just moved here from a little town about 3 hours away. First real job, first condo, first time to the city. Sooo, for a lack of a better work, naive. We dated for about 4 months and I told her that I wasn’t really into her and that we should break it off. Well, she didn’t like that idea and kept saying that I needed to give it another shot. So I did, because well, the sex was pretty damn good. She was looking for someone to fill her repressed daddy spot, and she latched onto me. I kept trying to break up with her and she wouldn’t take no for an answer. This went on for about a year and a half. I’m not even sure how I finally broke it off for good. I still talk to her online on occasion and if I am in her area for work I will take her out for breakfast sometimes. She’s learned a lot since she moved to the big city.

-Neighbor girl
This was a nice one. I met her and she lived down the street. She was all for just coming over and having a good time and then going home. Then….she started getting all relationship on me. Being all bitchy and whatnot. There was an understanding and she decided to break the understanding by turning a physical relationship into something more. That didn’t last long, I don’t put up with bitchiness.

-Psycho Girl
This was a total hottie that I went to highschool with. Her brother was friends with my sister. We went on a couple dates after we both had graduated and we hit it off good. Her mom was going through a divorce so she got on a “I hate men” kick. She was actually pretty cool cause she liked cars… Well, I thought she was cool. We are dating for a couple weeks and she is going to school. All of a sudden she falls off the face of the earth. No more calls or emails. Then she pops up out of nowhere. I ask her who the new guy was and shes like what new guy….then finally admitting to meeting some guy at school. So instead of telling me she decides to avoid me. She calls me up a couple times crying because this new guy is being mean to her and scaring her. I tell her I will be there in 20 mins and then she calls me back and says not to….ok, whatever. I don’t know whatever happened to her…my sister and brother in law agree that she def. has a screw loose. She’s brought the guy around to a couple family events and apparently they had to leave because of him or he was not invited back. Good pick there!

-Blind Date girl
My neighbor set this one up. Usually blind dates are pretty bad, I know, I've been on a few. I take pride in my appearance, and want someone that does as well...you know, works out, eats good, etc. The last couple have been attractive, but not "fit" enough for me. Maybe I'm a little picky. This was a blind date in truest form because we did not talk on the phone other than setting the date up, and I did not see a picture of her.

First date I pulled up in a dirty ass magnum, and the first words out of her mouth were "cool car!". I ran back to the car, grabbed the emergency engagement ring, and asked her to be my wife. Ok, maybe not yet.

She was, well, actually attractive. Holy crap. She has an interest in cars. Holy crap. And she cooks (just graduated chef school). Holy crap.

We had a great conversation (restaurant meetup), she likes beer, and I thought we had pretty much in common. Did I mention that she can cook and I like to eat She doesn't seem like a prissy bitch and won't complain about every little thing. Atleast that's what I gathered. It musta gone well on her end because she was already setting up the second date for the weekend

Then comes the second date… I pick her up at her moms house. Her mom greets me…ok, hi mom, I am here to pick your daughter up. We went to the movies, had a pretty good time… Turns a little PC on me, not too bad though.

Then comes date 3. This is when the crazy came out. She gets mad because I said something about her liking my car and how most girls could care less. She goes on how I am stereotyping women this and that. I’m like, well, it’s kinda true, most women don’t have any interest in cars other than transportation. All night long she was on about how it’s wrong to stereo-type people. I’m like, if someone had the last name of O’connor, what kind of ethnicity would you say they were…she goes, I don’t know. I go probably Irish. Well, that opened a can of worms lol. She starts calling me ignorant and how it’s not a bad word but people make it out to be…this and that. I’m just like ok then… You can see how that one ended.

-Red Head
This one was 28, cute, and a vegetarian…red-head, green eyes and German. First couple dates were good. She liked pain Then the crazy comes out. She only eats at nice places…like 20-30 bucks a meal nice. Wouldn’t even consider eating at a nicer bar. Lot of miscommunication. Our first date was at a restaurant…she thought it was just for drinks, I thought it was for dinner. We had a date some other time to eat at a restaurant… Well, instead of driving to my house she drives there instead. I’m waiting for her and then she calls me telling me she’s going to leave. I’m like wtf, I’ll be there in 5. She had a weird bath fetish…like she would have to take 3 of them a day. She bailed on me a couple times because she rather take a bath than hang out with me. She called me from the damn tub too. Then after about 3 weeks she stopped putting out but decided not to tell me until after I got her off. Thanks pal! You want to talk about high-maintenance, this was it! Wow.



-Magnum hater
This girl was 23, pretty cute. I pull up in the magnum and she decides it would be ok to make fun of it all.night.long. WTF? She is driving daddy’s hand-me-down buick too. Lives with her parents and I don’t even know if she had a job. I brush it off as her being nervous. She calls me up to go out again…then decides she doesn’t want to after calling me. I convince her to meet up again and she buys dinner….will not let me pay. OK. I then never hear from her again. Weird!

-Teacher
Man this one I had high hopes for. She was cute and we talked for hours all the time. About 3 dates in she tells me she probably can’t have kids because she ruined her body from working out too extreme or something. I go with the flow, a little worried. 4th date is at her friends’ house for superbowl. I get a little drunk and so did everyone else. Well, I don’t hear from her for like 4 days. I am thinking wtf is going on here. We were talking every day and hit it off really great…then absolutely nothing. FINALLY she calls me back. Says I was out of control at the party and she was super embarrassed. I am like huh? She overheard what me and the guys were talking about and didn’t think it was right, this and that? Keep in mind the guys were just talking smack like about cars and stuff. I was totally dumbfounded and didn’t know what to say. I told her it was guy talk and that’s how I am… You bring me to a house full of people that I don’t know, feed me a ton of liquor and I am going to open up to people I don’t know. Well, she didn’t like it and decided that was it. Ok…..

-race car chick
This one used to teach rich people how to race porches. Pretty cool because I like racing too. One date and she decided that she had fun, but there wasn’t enough there for a second date even. No pictures


-knee girl
This girl was 23 and never gave up her V-card yet. She did other things extremely well though and I think that was the real reason for her bad knees We dated for a month or so. We were hitting it off pretty good until she went to new york. Apparently she stayed there because I never heard from her again. I refer to her as knee girl because she just had her knees replaced or something from college volleyball.

-hawaii girl
First date was drinks, really late on a work night. Date went really well and we had a lot in common.

Second date was a little italian place near my house that I like. Afterwards I invited her over for a drink. She declined so we went to a bar instead. Night ended well and we got along well still.

Then she goes to hawaii for 10 days. Texts a little back and forth. She comes home and a few days later we go to a restaurant and grab some dinner and a few beers. I again ask her if she wants to come over for a drink or head somewhere else but she plays she tired and is just going to go home. OK, whatever. I think she should be wide awake if she was still on hawaii time. She invites me out to a friends b-day party the next saturday but I didn't get a chance to go. I invite her out sunday for minigolf, but she's too busy.

I don't hear from her for a week so I send her a text asking if she's ok. She texts back she was in a car accident. I call her and we talk a bit. Seems kinda short but then seems normal after 5 minutes of talking.

I ask her if she wants to see this band I like, she says maybe she will have to see. She texts me back the day of that she and her sister are going bowling with some friends and invites me. I tell her I should be able to. I missed the band anyways since I wouldn't have gotten home in time. 15 minutes before we were supposed to meet up she says shes changed her mind and they are going to watch a movie instead.

She never makes the effort to make time to do something. It seems like she only wants to meet after work for dinner and is too busy to do stuff any other time. Then she invites me out and bails. She never calls and never answers the phone. She rather send a text (which I hate).

If you are kinda seeing someone and you crash your car to the point where you need 4 days off of work, wouldn't you think to call them? Rather, what about contacting them to see whats going on or to talk? I am not needy, but jeez, not following up with someone for a week seems a bit excessive.

She says her last boyfriend dumped her over text and she was mad about that. Now I can see why. She only answers her phone 5% of the time and is too busy to do anything. I think I'll send her a text to give me a call when she's not too busy with herself.





-crazy polish girl
We were supposed to meet at a bar. It was packed. I went with some friends and we waited like an hour before finally getting to the dance floor area. Where was she? Who knows. Never saw her and she stopped responding after I got up there.




-vette girl
This girl was probably my worst date. This was an online date. She said she was athletic…the only thing athletic about her was her mouth when she was chowing down on the 5 loaves of bread she ate. All she talked about was how much money she made, how she has a corvette and a huge house. This and that. Bad mouthed our waitress because she knew her….would not stop talking about who knows what. In between her breathing she was loading up on carbs like they were going out of style. Needless to say, there was no second date.

 

This is a great idea for a website. I like the concept.

ha, i didn't know these people were crazy until I went out with them! They seemed ok on the phone and at first glance. I'm telling you, it's the midwest!! I swear they are all like this. I thought maybe it was me...but, I don't think it is. I am pretty easy going and I don't act different after a couple dates. I am respectful and don't push a hidden agenda. I don't get it.

As for getting some, yea, some of them I did. Some I didn't even want a second date with and some I never got around to getting them alone. I went on a second date with another polish chick last night. She came over and we watched a movie and had some drinks. She seems pretty cool, also seems like she is not going to make the first move. Damn.
