    No issues clicking, I get lag every once in a while. But other than that its fine.

    a few dozen pics were unrecoverable from the hard disk problem. yours may have been in that batch. reupload them if you still have them locally on your pc

    No, that's not it. The original full sized pictures are still in the gallery.

    Here's one example:
    The thread references this pic url in the img tag:

    Note that it's the 'medium' sized version of the image. But If I click through the (broken)pic link to go back to the gallery:

    It's still there. It suggests using the following embed code:

    Which produces this result:

    That picture is there.

    So, basically, it appears that I typically embedded the slightly smaller "medium" pics in my threads - and the link to the "medium" versions (created by an automated url processing tool?) is what's not working. Or alternatively, there's a job that runs on upload, that creates the medium sized images, that needs to now be rerun on the regenerated gallery?
