    LEESBURG, VA (WTVR) – A woman tore down a display erected by a northern Virginia atheists group outside the Loudon County Courthouse Tuesday. WUSA reports resident Mary Czarnecki pulled down the display, which consisted of a skeleton dressed up as Santa Clause and strung up on a cross, because she found it offensive.
    However, officials say the display was approved by county officials and was displayed legally following a debate about the constitutionality of the annual nativity scene.
    Loudon County Supervisor Stevens Miller says a proposed bill to ban all displays for the rest of the season was rejected.
