just thought that i could give you a little feed back on you selling your truck. i got rid of my extra cab for the same reason, i wanted to bring my friends with me wheeling. yes they could ride in the back of the extra cab but there wasnt much room at all for anything else. Although i wanted a manual, im really happy with my new yota, just wish i had the money to build it up quicker. hope this might help since i was kinda in the same position..

    BA single cab btw

That is an amazing truck!! I basically just want your entire front end, wheels and suspension:cool: Thats exactly what i want my truck to look like. I have been tossing around the idea of a satoshi for the 96. Can i get some more details on the build and more pictures? How did you bend the mesh, how did you secure it, cutting out the plastic pieces?

To bad he rolled it :(

As for the mesh, just do some searching man, TONs or writes and tips on how to do it. all the same process tho.

oh ya thats right, i remember that thread where he showed pictures of it after the roll.

ive looked at a couple of satoshi write ups, but his is the only 96 4x4 style mesh grille ive actually seen, and i havent really seen specifically how to secure in the mesh in the write ups

i just found some little metal clips that had hooks and used epoxy on the back of the grille. then just left some over hang on the mesh and zip tied it to the hooks.

Hey Tim if you don't mind me asking where did you get your lift, what parts are you running on it exactly, and how much did it run you? I wanted a 4.5" lift but those are only for 2nd gens so just was wondering about your 4" lift. Thanks

He doesn't, you can't run 4'' of lift on a 1st gen. Well not an all suspension one. He has his coils set at like 3.5 i think which is still pushing the limits of the CVs
