    :notsure: I had 55w illegal ones and they were glorious! Wouldn't get you pulled over just nah inspection. They were a little bright with light splatter for oncoming traffic....thinking about going with 35w...change color too maybe....had 6k (blue) and may go with 5k (white) to be more DL

    I think RugedT has replacement bulbs that are brighter and legal....n slim n rayn has the HID retro's that are legal.

    Don't really want to go the HID route, looking for just a brighter factory style light. I like the silverstars but everyone says the burn out quick, real quick.

    Im against hid's in stock headlight housings for on road use. Too much un-controlled glare. Here's what im running... plenty bright.

    Just be careful with the blue tinted bulbs that claim they are brighter... they really arn't.
