Some of you are right but for the wrong reasons. If you are GUESSING like the question asks then it is 25%. If you KNOW then it's 50% but KNOWING doesn't = GUESSING so that is wrong. See? Hope this clears things up................BTW, this thread is MORNING mind Fark so only valid on west coast and HI now since it is no longer morning for the rest of us so please hold all further answers unless you are in the right time zone. I'm in CST so I withdraw my previos answer thankyou.

If the answer were B, there is only one response so the odds of picking it are 1/4 = 25%. If it's 25%, the answer can't be 50% so B is wrong.

If the answer were C, then the odds of picking it would be 1/4 = 25% which would be a wrong answer for the same reason as option B.
