Rifle deer season in pa is 2 weeks long ending this Saturday. It's been slow this year. Usually my family has 2 deer by now and we haven't gotten one yet.

I've heard the season in Wisconsin is only a week or two as well.

As for TN, bow season starts in late September, muzzle loader at the beginning of Nov, and rifle in the middle of Nov and they all go until Jan 1st.

PA archery starts end of Sept. beginning of Oct. and runs til the second wknd of Nov. Rifle starts Monday after Thanksgiving and runs 2 weeks, depending on your WMU it's buck with certain antler restrictions the first week only, then doe joins in the first Saturday thru the remainder of the 2wk season. Flintlock muzzle loader, no mussle loaders here lol, comes in day after Christmas and runs a couple weeks, not sure of its duration exactly, 2-3 wks probably. There is an early season any muzzle loader and jr/sr doe hunt in mid Oct. somewhere too. Not to mention red tag areas and things like that.

Yeah I like that too. This was my first year with the bow and I've really enjoyed it. Saw several, just not close enough for a clean shot.

Archery - from Oct 1st to Dec. 31st.

    Rifle - November 21st to Dec. 3rd.

Muzzleloader Dec. 12th to Dec. 17th.

And a few others in between depending on what county you live in and youth hunts.

(I got skunked again this year. I havent clicked the saftey off on a buck in 4yrs now)

That's for sure! I walked up on a doe but she saw me before I could draw. My heart was pounding. Didn't think I could raise my bow without her running off. She never turned away until she bolted so I didn't get a shot. Kinda wish I'd tried to take it anyway. Season's not over and I'm hoping I can go one or two more times.

Well its not that I didnt see any bucks. I'm well basically a trophy hunter when it comes to buck season. I had trail cam pic's of a split brow tine 11pt. before season but never seen him. :( Oh well next year he'll just be bigger. Nice man! Congrats!
