HID Xenon Group Buy Round 4!! Ends 2/24/09

my buddy has an 06 4 runner or something like that and he has projectors but no hid's the projector just helps you control the light pattern so that it is not scattered.

 

I personally am running the 50w's in my headlights and have driven behind cops several times at night with no fear of getting pulled over. I guess its all in what you get. I mean if you get a 12000K temp where it is clearly illegal and annoying to any other driver then yes you are a sore thumb. But with my 6000K's I have not even thought twice of the chance of getting pulled over. I just last week was pulled over at night and it was for my tint on the front windows... The cop didn't even take notice that my nice HID's lit up the whole road in front of us lol. I would say this GB is not for you since there isn't a kit out there for our trucks that are DOT approved. Even if you retrofit your headlights with projectors that still isn't approved since its either a modification to your existing lights or a China made ebay projector headlight.

If you still would like to purhcase a kit I would recommend 4300K or 6000K to ease your mind. If you have any other questions let me know...

Will not work on 95-97 headlights because they are the composite ones (sealed halogen). However, they will work if you get these conversion headlights:

Then the kit will fit into the new headlight housings.

Is it possible to order the black off road lights with the clear lens? Like the one the chrome off road lights have?
