    Primed, Yes
    Sticky tape, No
    Painted, Nope not that either.

If you don't care about repainting again in a few years go right ahead and rattle can it. When your ready to have a nice looking truck with professional paint and clear coat. Come see me.

You get what you pay for!

I take pride in my stuff and don't mind spending more to get the good stuff first. I learned along time ago, cheaper isn't always less expensive in the long run.

I only do it once. Yeah its more money, but fun as hell! And I won't have to do it again.

    Good deal bump!

If I hadn't had mine done a couple of years ago, I'd be all over this. $85 for the eyelids, painting and shipping is a good deal no matter what anyone else says. A paint gun/paint booth job will turn out better over the long run then a garage rattle can version the majority of the time. Of course there are outliers for both.

I am curiuos how you handle, or if you've had to handle, any of the tri-coat colors? Barcellona Red (3R3) is one of the tri-coats. One of the reasons I had mine professionally done was due to mine being barcellona red.

    Long answer:

I have always driven toyota trucks. I started with an 81 LB 4x4 SR5. Nice truck but was gutless. As I move up I went with the 3.0 again gut less and a boat anchor of a motor.

In 08 I bought another truck DCSB 4.0 motor, lots of pep and fun to drive until you put aftermarket tires on it. Then it lost most of its pep. Still better then any previous motor.

I now have the '11 and installed the super charger within 2 days of buying the rig. I was hesitant to put down that much money at first, but with my situation being what it was I decided that I would most likely not buy a truck with no reguards in the future. I opted to get it.

This thing is freaking awsome and fast! I put the 285's and lift on, it drives different, but pulls like nobody's business. I can burn them off taking off and when I step on it I can get to 100 no time flat out. I actually had a celica try to race me today on my way to work. Flat stretch for about 3 miles. He pulled up next to me and sped up and slowed down and sped up. I stomped on it and couldn't catch me. When I finally slowed down after a bit, and made it into town and hit the first light, he pulled up and asked what the freak was in that thing, I smiled and said super charger. He just laughed and said he hasen't ever been beat by a truck before.

Having owned it now, I would have paid more for it knowing what I know now. At the front side, it is expensive, but it is worth every shiny penny you have, and if they aint shinny enough break out the polish and then some. You won't be disappointed.

Toyota would sell more of these things if they had a demo model on the lot for people to test drive compared to a stock model. All though if they did that then mine wouldn't be so special anymore. Hmmm. On second thought you will hate how well your truck will perform.:D I would invest in stickers that just say super charged they add more HP then this does.:):)

I got mine at dealer cost.... If you were to go into the dealer and have the supercharger installed complete meaning reflash, fit kit, it should run about $4500 or so. Every dealer markes these things up at different rates even though they pay about the same for them. Some dealers require you to buy thru them rather then ebay, or Earnhardt Toyota. Hint, Hint. I would recommend that you do some kind of exhaust and intake at the same time. The SC works great by its self, but those other items really wake it up. The next item I want is the URD pulley, even more ponies.
