    2 axels driving 4 wheels = 4 wheel drive. Being as duallys may have 2 wheels, they attach to one hub at the end of the axel. So, they are still 4x4.

    Guy I know has two of these. He got them for $2,000 each at a government auction, and they came with 4 sets of new axles and one new engine. Things are damn near indestructible, and the multi-fuel ones run on anything.
