Long story short: I bought a 2002 Tacoma, moved to Germany, bought a 2005 Tacoma in Germany, moved to the states, decided to have kids, sold my Tacoma to get the Family Sequoia, bought a car trying to be the economical dad (awful idea), sold the car, bought a 2002 Tacoma, started the build. The end

So, I started my build. I am stoked

First thing I did was sell the ugly cap and got it Rhino lined

Then I installed All Pro 3" leafs, 2.0 Swayaways, Bilstein 5125s, Black Rock 15x8s, and BFG 32X11.5s. This is how she sits now and I cannot tell you how good she rides. The deckplate is in the mail. I will get a better pic of its stance and rims tomorrow once the sun comes up.

I have a long list, but right now I have to start saving because the lift and tire/wheel setup put me out! But if I come across a locking rear diff, I will have to snag that up right away!

On a side note, the one thing that did frustrate me was the lack of styles of tires in 32 inches.

Are those expos or just regular Allpro leafs? And what length 5125s did you go with?

Hell yeah sweet truck man! Good choice on the lift, bet she rides awesome. And I agree on lack of choices for a 32" tire...even harder with 17" wheels.

Thanks for the good words folks. To answer the questions thus far: they are regular leafs and I bought the rear package deal, so I dont know the exact part number (threw the box away).

I got exactly 3.25" of lift with the rear leafs, but they already settled to about 3". They ride like a freaking dream boat and I never thought a 4X4 could ride this soft (it flexs soooo well). I am definitely a bilstein allpro fan here on out. The swayaways also rise like freaking clouds.

I had a leaf on my 05 for years, and the difference between this leaf pack and my AALs is night and day. I will never buy an AAL again. :D

Awesome. I'm just trying to figure out if I want the expo or the standard. I camp and fish a lot and would love the extra capacity but don't really want to have a 4'' lift in the rear when it is unloaded. Plus that much lift would probably require some new tires as well to make it look good. My options are the AP expos + 5125s in the rear and 5100s up front, or dakars + AAL in rear and 5100s all the way around.
