So guys ive been thinking of ways to get my lift, Since im kinda broke and i think il just start ordering parts one by one... Like say one week il order the front shocks, Then in a couple weeks the rear shocks and so on until i get the complete kit together and then install all at once... Just not sure if its a smart decision Shipping wise...

Should i just get a 3" spacer/AAL lift for now and then upgrade it when i can actually just buy everything outright?

I dont off road much, But i like to play every so often. Nothing serious like Trail wise, but i do like to be able to run with my buddies jeep.

No. spacer lifts suck. I would save the extra few hundred and go for s suspension lift.

You can buy billies all the way around for 300. Then get an AAL. That's to start.

I would sooner not lift my truck then do a spacer lift.

Thats what I did. I started off with OME coils, then bought 5100's, then UCA's.

Yep , you can but it's been my experience and words from friends that you will want to replace it with a better suspension lift eventually so that will be money on top of the money spent on the cheaper block lift. I think if your in a hurry and plan to upgrade in a year or so it would make sense if you can't wait. It won't hurt anything (except maybe your tailbone going over bumps) :D Tell us about your truck

You might get a better deal if you buy the full kit instead of onesey-twosey.

Where might i find this Kit? ToyTec in the only place ive looked... Does DSM sell it?

Hey OZ-T is it wortht the extra... 320 bucks for Dakars over just adding a leaf? Seems like adding a leaf is half assing it to me... Does the ride quality change a bunch with a new leaf pack?

You can get the OME kit with Dakars from Toytec , you just need to select the full leaf pack in the rear lift option .

I'm sure you can get it from DSM as well .

For me the Dakars are totally worth the extra money as I carry a cap full time and use my truck to haul material , firewood , etc

The unloaded ride of the Dakars is stiffer than my 4 leaf stock pack , but carrying my cap seems to engage them enough to take the edge off , carrying a load they are a huge improvement over the stock crap 4 leaf pack .

Well il probably have around 150 pounds of sand in my bed for the winter, So im sure that can be enough to take the stiffness away. Like i said, I just feel like AAL is half ass. Idk just my opinion. I guess i just want to do my suspension right the first time and be fully capable instead of making a rougher ride with spacers.

Get the billies up front and set em at .85 and get 265's then save up for the rest. Gives you a better ride, tires and looks.
