    Well he is a 2nd gen so only 1.75'' of lift. But you can set your billies at .85'' and get about 3''.

    My dad has the toyotech coil overs for 2nd gens. They are great.

    on the toytec coilovers they are. The toytec coilovers are just bilstein shock absorbers and eibach coils setup in an adjustable coilover.

    ...and eibach springs toytec sells now say "toytec" on them instead of eibach.

    i know that was a dumb question i bought my tacoma with the 5100s already on the front but he used the stock springs the front end is about 2" lower than the back i was going the adjust them to 3" but i dont want the ride to be rough as hell idk if it would be better to adjust the 5100s to stock and get the Eibach spring or just adjust them to 3"

    well..idk how yours feels now..but the eibachs are stiff. But i don't think they are bad..and if you have any front weight(bumper/winch/both) it just smooths out. But they aren't the softest coils. OME are much nicer riding or so that seems to be the general consensus.. But i love mine. And really you can't get 3'' of lift without sacrificing ride quality..

    If that black truck is the one your talking about then id say go for the eibachs and set the billies at 0 since you have the ARB bumper it should ride pretty nice.

    they way I look at it is....its a truck! And right now I have a spacer lift with worn out bilstein yellow shocks...so anything would be an improvement. The 5100/eibach combo will be like riding in a caddy :cool:

    5 leaf leaf springs in the rear which raise the back up a pretty good bit

    If you only have 5100's in the front set on a lift notch, that is why you are low in the front end. Eibach coils, and the bilsteins set on 0 should level you out. Especially since you have an ARB bumper you are sagging up front (stock coils dont tolerate weight well)

    Bilstein 5100's, Toytec front adjustable coilover kit, Exporear leafs, Fox resi rears, Slotted & Drilled front rotors, 33x12.50 BFG ATs on Outlaw II 15 x 10s, Bushwacker cutout flares, K&N cold air intake with aluminum sheathing water baffles, ARB bumper with XD9000 winch with wireless remote, IPF 900XS lights, Flowmaster cat-back exhaust, Rhino bed liner, UWS gullwing toolbox with tools and recovery gear. 48" Hi-Lift Jack secured under toolbox.
    On my Tacoma I used to have the 5100s with OME 882s then I put on a ARB bumper with a winch. That was too much weight for the 882s, the front end dipped too low and my tires (33x12.5) were rubbing when the steering was turned all the way. They did not before, albeit after quite a bit of trimming. I debated on going to 886s or Eibach 620lb coils. I actually picked up the Eibach coils, but used them on my 4Runner instead. I decided to go with Toytecs adjustable coilover kit for the 5100s for my Tacoma. I like the adjustability factor, I dialed them in to restore the level stance. For the rebuild I replaced the bushings and purchased a new set of upper mounts, KYB brand. I placed the coilover kit over my old 5100s, but the shocks just looked nasty next to the shiny new Toytec kit, so I refinished them with some red paint. I used to lowest notch on the 5100s.

    Here are some pictures after I dialed in the adjustable lower collar. I supported the truck with a jack to do the adjusting to lessen the tension on the collars during the adjusting. I did this at least 4 times to get it to where I am now. The instructions said to leave only 1" of thread showing, but at that setting I was still rubbing, so I ended up with a little more thread exposure.

    yea i cant decide i want an aggresive tire but i want the tread life to be really good on the road also i use to have km2 on my last tacoma but i wrecked it before i could see how they ran when they were wore down
