Just picked up my (new to me) Silver 2010, double cab, 4WD, TRD Off Road, with tow package, Toyota Tacoma. Had just shy of 11,000 miles on it. Wife likes it, daughter (7 years old) went crazy over it.

When we got to the stealership yesterday, my wife saw a silver Crew Max Tundra sitting right out front and said, "Oh my god, is that it? It's huge!". I said, "no, ours is over here..." Her reply was "oh, it looked bigger in the pictures online..." I'm not sure if she was relieved or disappointed. :notsure:

I got raped financially, but it got me out of my 2000 Buick Lesabre that had 232,000 miles on it, and was turning into a financial black hole. I plan on keeping this truck for at least 10 years and putting at least 300,000 miles on it.

First mod will be to install my HAM radio on Monday, and then maybe some Weather Tech all weather floor mats. Other than that, I'm going to keep it pretty much stock for awhile.

Here's a few shots of my 2012 ORDC.

    Changes so far:
Swapped the Rugged Fails for Cooper AT3's, 265/75/16. 100% improvement in the snow and ice.
SnugTop XV with Prolock & factory rails.
    OEM rook rack
    Bed Rug was installed today!

    Next:
Yakima rack system for the top and a Thule T2 for the MTB.

Come spring I'd like to tint the front windows and I'm considering yanking a few badges and blacking out the others. I'd love to PC my wheels black or get aftermarket black wheels but that will have to wait.

Edit: Oh, and I yanked the front mud flaps b/c one of them was almost torn off by the snow in my neighborhood. Kinda lame as it was only snow, but I was considering removing them anyway. For now I'm planning to leave the rear flaps on as it way help out the folks behind me.

    Whoop whoop!

Anyone else notice: that besides the Toyota emblem in the grill the 2012 Toyota Tacoma does not say Toyota on the outside? TACOMA on the doors and TACOMA V6 on the tailgate.... interesting.

It should say toyota above the tacoma badge on the tailgate.
