Thanks for the help in advance!

Depends what part of the state you moving to. From my experience up North Jersey, we don't really worry about it. Southern part of Jersey, completely different world.

It is illegal, but you will not fail inspection.

As long as you don't drive like an idiot you should be ok.

In New Jersey it is against the law to have a tint visor. Front window tint is illegal in all 50 states.

You most likely wont get bothered for tint. I had my 96 tinted for years without a problem

I've had tinted windows for the past 6 years. Ive been pulled over for it twice, and got a ticket for it once. Its never been darker than 20%. I had 35% on my Trans Am. 20% on my G8. and I have 20% on my Tacoma. About a year and a half with it on the Tacoma with no issues at all.

Don't drive like a dick, and they most likely won't bother you. A cop around here has to be really bored to pull you over just for tint.

Now, front license plates are a different story. Ask me how i know :D

I've had no problem with mine. I got mine done at AutoFx in cherry hill and I believe I paid $50 to get my fronts done at 20% to match the rears.

In my ten years of driving, I have had all my vehicles windows tinted at 20% and never had a problem. As long as you don't do anything to draw attention to yourself, you should be fine.
