Makes me chuckle every time I drive it! :)

YES IT IS! At one time, we had about 4 of them in running condition. The one my Dad had was in great shape. Dam near perfect, and a guy offered him 10k for it, so he let it go. being as he bought it for 1000, it was a solid sell. Right now, we have 2 than are running, and about 5 for parts. The one pictured is my favorite.

That's really all you need to do. I always prefer to do a full re-image, to make sure there aren't remnants of the preloaded software there, but that is probably overkill for the average user.

A defrag is probably a good idea if you uninstalled a bunch.

As far as dropping the wireless signal, that could be just about anything. Are you using Windows to manage it, or is there a third-party piece of software that is managing it? If it's the latter, I would completely remove that and just use Windows to manage it. I've never needed to actually use the third-party applications to manage it.

Went shopping for a grill with my girlfriend this morning - her parents desperately need a new one. Then had to get some paint for work (we're having our new office space completely redone), get my haircut and grab some food.

Came home, relaxed, banged, went back to work and setup a new branch with around 20 people (five accounts each) which took about two hours, then came over here to the new office, where myself and our other engineer are getting some firewall appliances ready to take up to our data center in Jacksonville. It's going to be a long night...

I love Weber, and if it were mine, I would have picked that one up. But her parents aren't huge grillers, and they don't need anything super fancy. Her mom picked out a Brinkmann that she really liked; the reviews were pretty good, and for $379 for a 5-burner with and infrared side-burner, you really can't go wrong.

The company I work for provides the infrastructure services to mortgage companies. Right now we only have one, but they are about to breach the $50MM/mo. so they are really all we need/can handle right now. Not to mention, they are a wholly-owned subsidiary of an FDIC-regulated Bank, so we have to follow FDIC guidelines, and they are very picky. We have to maintain a SAS70 Type II/SSAE 16 Type II certification (which we are almost due for), as well as all of the other guidelines as far as Exchange mailbox retention, customer data protection, etc...
