    Well truth be told, our company is also the largest shareholder of the holding company, which owns the bank, which owns the mortgage company, that we support...:p

    Our company literally only has four employees, two of us are IT, one of us is a Post-Closing/Secondary Marketing person, and the other is my brother who runs/owns it all (majority). I have an IT team at the mortgage company level that I manage, and they carry out about 40% of the day-to-day BS that comes with supporting mortgage branches. We have an automated ticketing system that will escalate issues if they sit too long, or that will automatically ping me if it's a higher-level issue (system outage, Exchange issue, etc...).

    We're not a very resource-heavy company, but we do thrive on using technology to automate the majority of our systems. While 90% of the time it works in our favor, there are nights like this where two of the "upper tier" guys like myself and my other guy have to drive to the data center and actually do the hands-on work.

    Candidly, I enjoy this stuff more than dealing with the automated systems - actually moving servers around, running cables, terminating network drops, etc...

    I really like all of my Kershaw knives. I have put one of them through hell, and it is still very sharp (I've never sharpened it, and I've had it for 5 years).

    I'm also in the market for some knives, to assemble a B.O.B., but I haven't had time to really do much research on them. I will probably just take a stroll over to Bass Pro and see what they have there first.
