I've always wanted to explore the Hells Canyon area. Looks like there is a lot of good exploring on both sides of the snake.

There's also supposed to be some guy's private land that gets opened up once a year for a private event that is supposed to be incredible times, but I'm thinking it's a bit more hardcore than I'd care to do.

Finally got a chance to install these today. Overall everything went of perfectly. We decided to not use the frame plates as we would have had to cut/modify everyone to make them fit. I trust my friends welds with my truck. Well here are the photos.

No frame plates. Honestly I don't see a need for them. The sliders get welded to the frame plate, the frame plate get welded to the frame along its edges. So the weak part is still the frame plate to slider weld. Why not just take the slider straight to the frame?

because the gusset will penetrate through the frame when a large amount of upward force is applied to the slider. The plates are there to evenly distribute the force of the impact to a large area of the frame rather then the 1/4 thickness of the gusset.

We didn't use them. When we were mocking them up, would couldn't get a good seat on most of them with the frame. Between the rivits and other gussets on the frame we were going to have to notch or cut every frame plate

Post a photo of your plates please. You said you had to cut a bunch to make them fit
