Thanks for looking guys! No pics of it mounted since as usual it's shipping. I make these from a fixture I built, then install the first section onto my 99 to ensure the tailgate clears the main tube and step, then remove it and finish it. Showing it on my lowered 99 would look funky.

Hopefully the buyer will post after pics. My plans were to increase their cost slightly after building this one since there is a decent amount of work involved, but I've decided to keep them priced where they currently are in hopes of actually selling one or two. FedEx will be here to take this one away at any moment now. (along with a 2nd gen break down tire carrier)

The style of this bumper or the double step plus the wrap around protection would be tits.

Is the hitch capable of towing or is it designed strictly for recovery?

Anything designed for recovery should be more than adequate to tow with. I'd never put a hitch on a bumper that wasn't safe. You could definitely use this hitch to tow anything the truck can handle towing and it's also strong enough to be used for recovery. I'd put $ down on this statement, seeing how the last double step bumper I made that had 2 recovery points was used to pull out a full size ford and he didn't have shackles yet so he wrapped the strap around the tube of the bumper and it worked fine. I'll bet at the time he wondered if it would hold or not, but I've built enough of these bumpers to know that they're very strong when they need to be.

I buy the 2" receiver's pre made and then cut them to size and fully weld them to the bumper which means it should technically have a class lV rating as far as the hitch and bumper goes. These bumpers bolt to the truck using the 2 factory bolts on each side of the frame. If I remember correctly, class lV is fully welded to the vehicle, so since this bumper has a welded hitch but bolts to the truck, it's probably a true class lll.
