I don't remember Eric or Tim having to cut the plates much, it was more a matter of putting them at proper spacing.

Mitch, sorry to say, but I really think you want those plates on there before you learn the hard way.... well, the even harder way :(

We tried positioning the plates in different spots and couldn't figure them all out. Well see what happens, I still have them, if I need them I can grind it all down and start again (even though it would be a bitch)

I figure my setup is a combination of a couple of those. I know that for best strength the frame plate would have been best.

you'll be fine with out them, the plates would have been better but to late for that haha. it would take a ridiculously amount of force for anything to happen to your frame. i think everyone is thinking about it as one leg when there are 4 that are distributing the force, if the 4th leg to the rear is being pressed upward then the 3rd will pull against the force along with the 2nd and 1st leg. its a team work thing :p if that makes since. for anything to happen it would have to be a great enough force to tweak the entire frame down the whole side since the legs are spaced along the frame and all connected by a slider(very beefy slider)

    Very beefy indeed.

Yeah after thinking about it more last night, if anything just to have a square plate to push on the frame would have been ideal. But since this is my DD, I plan to still drive like a grandma about to shit her pants when I'm at Browns.

So which of you sillys drive a silver access cab with painted lower valance, grenade decal at the bedside and Christmas lights around the bed? Just saw you take a right turn onto Scholls from Hall  I wasn't in my truck though..

I've seen you at Albertson also getting out of your truck with your child as I was walking towards mine with my daughter.

Yeah I got pretty lucky a buddy of mine from Oregon State had access to some private logging property so we were able to get into them the second day! So lucky...
