    We went to Barstow. It was a good time. My first time there. I like Ocotillo Wells better. But I still had a blast. We had a few broken trucks. Barstow takes no prisoners!!!

    ok, so not long ago in this thread we were talking about BLHM's, SWB-HLM's, and clear HLM's. I asked if the reflectors could be removed without taking apart the headlights completely. Well today i found out that you can in fact remove the turn signal reflector without taking apart the headlight!

    I got an extra set from work and decided to give it a shot. I was able from the socket hole to pop the lense out and let it go over toward the headlight bulb. Removed headlight bulb and started snipping away at the lense, got it out with no problems! I have some pics if anyone is interested.

    Yes.

    However, I'm told removing the yellow side reflectors are illegal. Still, post them pictures up! The other option is to take apart the entire assembly and dust a light coat of silver engine paint on the reflectors. I'm told it takes out the egg-yolk yellow and leaves a more subtle, still-legal yellow behind.

    Yes it is illegal but I've never been messed with because of it. Been running the clear headlights for 5 years so far.
