if they had kept the 2nd gens small like the original tacos, and not made them tundra size, i would be all about a 2nd gen, but they should have left it alone and left the tundra as the big truck and the taco the small one.

I do agree the 2nd gens look bigger than 1st... But I think they just look that way... I drove a Tundra and a Taco when I got mine, and the taco felt much more like a mini truck.

you do realize that the 2nd gen is only 6" wider and 6" longer than a gen 1. (as long as you don't do the DCLB)

they are much bigger and bulkier, i like them but just not what i would get, if i was to get a truck that size it would need more power to do me justice, it would also be the farm truck and i wouldnt want to beat my taco like that...thats why i want the smaller one for around town and playin...not clownin' anyones truck

nope, i have the DCSB an it felt bigger when i first got in it, but after driving it a while, it isn't much different than my 1st Gen. When i get in my Dad's 1st gen now, it feels tiny. Part of that may have to do with the fact i'm 6'5" and 250 lbs. The 2nd Gen fits me better.

thats my point, the 2nd gen is the size of the old tundra, if i was to get a truck that size, i would get one with more under the hood. they also upped the class, the 1gen is a compact truck, 2nds are mid size now.

I get the luxury of having a small truck with the gas mileage of a big truck! Best of both worlds!... wait...
