Really? The dealers in Denver have new 2012 4runners on the lots.

I was exactly in your shoes 6 weeks ago. Decided to go with the Tacoma T/X Pro.

Was interested in the 4-Runner due to dogs but, then decided I could just as easy get a shell and remove it when not in use. Only have one adult son and no wife ( and people bitch about them leaving...who knew) so 50% of time it's just me and the rest it's just me and the boy.

4-Runner does have more power and rated better MPG but (22 I belive with 4x4), could not get past the looks also to me the rear seats did not seem as comfortable as the Tacoma (a shocker for me).

Just SR5's from what I can find. They told me that Toyota builds each trim level one run at a time. So they built 2012 SR5's first, then they switch over to Limited, and then the Trails. Not sure if this is true or not, but I suppose they have no reason to lie, and from a production standpoint I guess it makes sense.

In my zip code (95357), there are only TWO colors for the T4R TE: silver and black. Thinking about it... the T4R is a finished product... the Taco is a base for customizing and making it your own (this is not a bad thing!).

    Im getting there......
Hey man their are a ton of 4runner trails in Fort Collins right now I saw them when I went to get my oil changed over thanksgiving. Dealership is Pedersen they are great people to work with. They may even be able to trade with the dealership in your area.

Just checked they right now have a black and a red one both new marked at just below $40,000.

The red ones look sick I would recommend that, also more unique than black/silver.
