Always changing...but there is no place like home.
    Vehicle:
2012 Nautical Blue DCLB TRD Sport
Black tube steps, Skid plate, Bilstein 6112's front and 5160's rear, Bakflip F1 folding cover, EGR raingaurds, All weather floor mats, AFE pro dry filter, BFG 265 70 R 17 KO2's.
Here's the problem. I have been waiting for a Nautical Blue TRD Sport DCLB with entune that I ordered while deployed. I am traveling 1600 miles when I go home for the holidays to visit family and pick up my truck to drive it home. I am arriving late Dec and leaving early Jan. My truck was supposed to arrive on the 22 of Dec. As of 3 days ago it appears that the delivery date has changed to 9 Jan ( 5 days after I plan on leaving). I have to be back to work on 13 Jan...so I have time right???? Not really. With the accesories I want to include a dealer warrented 3 inch lift, I don't have time to wait after 9 Jan. I can possibly wait until then and drive back a stock blue 2012 TRD DCLB and add the stuff later and more expensive price (bed mat, 3m film, black tube steps, skid plate, and possibly TRD supercharger).

My brother-in-law (dealer) knows that waiting longer is not a great option for me and has been unable to find ANY other nautical blue DCLB's the way I want from 61 other dealerships in his district, but has found a grey one. I like the Metallic Grey, but was set on the blue. The grey is "possible" since he has found it in the state and can possibly get it there sooner, but the blue is a sure thing, just late. I know better late than never, but late means I may have to drive back home empty handed, possibly deploy again, and get it in spring. He said if we do the deal while I'm there it will wait for me to pick it up however long it takes.

What would you guys do? would you wait and deal with the hassle and get exactly what you want, or try to get the grey that is eqaully nice, but only slightly more possible. Damn truck! Already a pain in my ass but I still love it...

You have waited this long and now want to settle for something else ??
    NAAAAAAA You will regret it.

Let them get the blue and do it right. Then when you get back it's all set for you the way you want it without trying to go back and forth with a gray one.

    I'd say Wait.

If the Blue is what you want, you might regret it later when you have the grey. (I admit the grey was going to be my choice until I found out the Blue was coming this year.

I think the MGM is classier, but if your heart is set on the blue then you should wait. I waited for mine as well.

If you are set on the blue wait the extra time, or you'll kick yourself in the ass years down the road.

So with the possibility of hanging out for a few more days and maybe going home with it stock:pray:, would you leave and buy a plane ticket at a later date to save a couple hundred and get a Lift with a warranty...and a supercharger that I'm still waiting to hear if it is even available (Toyota told me no on the SC but still working it)? With a plane ticket costing me a couple hundred anyway I'm more concerned with a lift with a warranty. Should I care about the dealer warranty on the aftermarket lift? I could always get a warranted lift elseware or do it myself un warranted right? The thing is, all this stuff was supposed to be done when I was there getting my truck before I took it home. Now it looks as though I will have to do it slowly. Again, I want the skid plate, bed mat, 3m film, black tube steps (might go with smitty built steps if I go aftermarket). I was going to get dealer price on a lot of this stuff.

Damn, damn, damn. I love blue and that is the coolest blue I've seen on ANY car or truck!!!! It's a bit different from the Indigo Ink of pre-2010. Like everyone else here says, wait, damn it.

Thanks, I'm waiting haha. At least until I can get the stock TRD Sport DCLB with entune. Don't know if I care to wait for the lift and other stuff since I can add it later. You can't add that beautiful blue. I do think the grey is awesome but that blue that you don't see to many pics of is definatley amazing.

I've got a MGM truck and I love it, but that blue was literally formulated by Jesus himself. Hold out, brotha.
