Poor gas milage

    Any tips on improving fuel milage?
    I just bought a 2010 Tacoma 4x4 double cab. has only 19,000 klm,s ( less than 12,000 miles ) I only get about 600 klm's ( 360 mils ), if i'm lucky, per tank.
    I traded an 05 GMC Canyon 4x4 it had a smaller tank and granted it only had 5 cyl. but could get close to 700-750 klm ( 420-450 miles ) per tank.

    I heard that using a lighter grade of oil might help?
