Tacoma Tailgates on Ebay

I'd keep the tailgates around when it came time to sell the trucks after X amount of millage was put on the trucks

 

wow this guy looks like a tool

 

wow he used all the tailgates for two months.

I reported it to ebay as suspected stolen property.

 

There is no real overhead in throwing them into storage. We only have about 4 of them at the office. When trading or selling a vehicle you will get quite a bit more if you include the tailgate. Sometimes the toppers are so beat up you are better off just tossing them and throwing the gate back on.

 

That Dealership on the tilgate is where i purchesed my 09 DC from. It is Pitts Toyota in Dublin Ga. It about 20 minutes from my house.

 

it'd be interesting to go there and see if any tailgates have been jacked off their trucks on the lot..

 

I will. Im good freinds with a salesman there and I will ask him about it also tomorrow.

 

I have received no further response from the seller. Ebay has responded to say that they are looking into it, though.

 

if you guys can get his phone number or a name i can tell you his address and birthdate as well as social security number using a national database i have access to, you might try sending a cop over to investigate. it will be a lot faster than playing games through ebay.

 

I'm headed to Wal Mart to pick up the hose clamp and do this today. Will probably also swing by a junk yard and see if I can spy any Tacos w/ good tailgates. $300 isn't bad, but only if I can LEGALLY aquire one for cheap.

I have been successful in getting three people kicked off Ebay for various infractions. However, Ebay has changed their rules such that it is very, very difficult, if not impossible, to find bad sellers, etc. They did this intentionally.

 

ebay sucks now. i remember when it used to be cool. not only is it hard to find bad buyers and sellers, but the fees have gone through the roof.

 

x2... I remember when it wasn't just a bunch of fkn stores on there... when it was normal people selling their junk... thems were the days...

maybe I'll start www.yabe.com which will be an auction site... but no stores allowed... just regular people...

he only has one white 1st gen tundra tailgate.....

 

The bad thing about that...... did he just *disappear* from ebay? Or did the cops come and pick his ass up?

I'd rather see the cops pick his ass up!!

 

He sold a silver one on the 20th and a white one on the 22nd, the white one was a relist from the 13th that ended without bidders

 

I sent him an eBay e-mail asking if he had one in silver so that I could get back his e-mail. Here is his reply:

" Where I get by truck beds they have one but it's 400 I don't
know if you want to pay 475 shipped and I can get on Tuesday I
just post it to earn possitive feedback on here. Let me know "

based on his spelling errors i would say he isnt the brightest bulb in the bunch!

ask forhis name and address so you can send him a payment or tell him you live in the same state and you can save the shipping costs to meet him in person. i can verify the address
