    Hello all,

Just found the site i have been in ttora for about 5 years now. I have a 09 dcab sport on order thru the dealer and i want to install my system into the new 1. I have a kicker 8" L5. i was wondering if anyone as the deminsions for behind the rear seat, If i remember correctly i have to remove the cargo bin and can put it in there.

I am also looking at installing all interior speakers and a pioneer d3 nav.

    any hints would be appreciated.

    Brian

I would like to know the size for the enclosure as well. NavyTaco, you at little creek, oceana or norfolk? Im up at hsc-2 in norfolk. I always see this kid in a double cab red with lift rolling around base. I think he comes from HM-14. Is that you by any chance?

Ive got an AT1 that works in my squadron who I swear knows anything and everything. He is usually my go to guy seeing how he has 10 years or so on me in the advanced electronics field. I just got the truck this weekend so im taking to work for the first time this afternoon. He is gonna help me build a box for the back which is why I was asking questions but I am sure he will know what to do. I will also be installing some infinity kappa's sometime this week and a kenwood 5120. Feel free to come by.

What ship? You on the vinson?

Look at the stickys for general knowledge.
unless you get creative, it's easier to take out the storage bins.
That sub should fit. Max mounting depth in our trucks is generally 5.75"

I understand that but I have mtx thunder 7000 which have a 7 3/8 I think for depth. But I do not understand how to get that much room with mdf board. I will probably only be able to get away with 1/2" board. Like I said if any one has dimensions and can save me the trouble that would be amazing.

The resident expert around here is Mr Marv, you can check out his forum section and ask questions there. He can help you with designing your own stuff.

7 3/8" is way to big unless you want to remove the rear seat

i hit a 7 instead of 4 but i though Mr. Marv made boxes for sale. I did not want to go ask the guy how to not make him money if that was the case.

Toytec ultimate lift kit, light racing UCAs, ARB bumper and full skid plates underneath. Looking into redoing the suspension and maybe repainting the ol' Taco.
He does make boxes and baffles for income. But he is a very nice guy and will help all he can. Just be square with the guy; that you are going to be making your own box. He'll tell you what the max depth is and all that if he knows. It just sucks when someone mines information and you help and help and then they go and build it themselves or buy it elsewhere.

Like getting a shoe salesman to get you the proper fit in a store and then going home and buying the shoes on the internet... except both cases here are on the internet... oh, whatever, you know what I mean. the dude will help, just don't be a dick, that's all I am saying.:D
