OME offers the heavy kit to compensate for heavy, aftermarket front bumpers/winches.
Why not try purchasing from ToyTec ?

I live in hawaii and there is the 4wheelparts store on a neighbor island that can offer awesome shipping rates($75 freight for rims, tires, whole OME kit.)

The rear leaf kit alone is like $380 + $400 shipping from toytec.

Looking through the instructions manual, I found:

    Stock/Light Load (0-110 pounds)
    Spring 1.75" OME880
    Shock N91SC

    Heavy Load (110-220 pounds)
    Spring 1.75" OME881
    Shock *N91S/N91SC

So the light is 880s and the heavy kit is 881s. I thought 881s were light, 883s were medium, and 882s were heavy?

    Good idea !
4WP has to go there as well.

You get your choice of coils with the OME lift. The 880s will should give your truck a slight forward lean to match the stock system. 881s should level out the truck front to back. If you are planning on a plate bumper go with the 882s. I learned the hard way and had to go with 882s after putting on the 881s to find a front end lean.

Would anyone recommend new UCA's with the ARB OME lift? It seems that the extra 1/2" provided by the toytec OME lift has convinced most to get aftermarket UCA's...

Also, does anyone think that the extra 1/2" lift would be a bad idea as opposed to the 2/5" with the ARB OME lift? Thanks

You'll find lots of solid advice throughout the forums. Assuming you're asking about the 2012 Tacoma listed in your profile, however, you'll probably find the best advice by moving these questions to either the 2nd Gen. Tacomas or Suspension forum.
