    It doesn't mean the ford is better or the Toyota is either. All that video proves is the ford had more traction and applied the power better. I just thought it was a good clip. Y'all are so quick to be defensive. Geez...

    To all that think I am Toyota badger remember I have had multiple tacomas. Just out grew them.

    Figured I'd throw this in the foray...

    It's a typical turbo torque graph. What you're seeing is the result of choosing a smaller exhaust turbine to bring the boost threshold to a lower engine speed. With any turbo engine, the torque is greatest when full boost is first developed. Any time after that you're observing what happens when airflow goes up through a turbine outlet that's a constant size. In other words, a flat torque curve is impossible on a turbocharged engine unless it's a sequential turbo setup, and even then it's not really 'flat.'

    It is a nice truck. Although, I better bookmark that death wobble thing, that looks like a real pain in the butt!

    Just noticed the twin turbo stickers... I was wondering if I'd ever see those on that. The red looks real good. Watch out though, guess what color the police look at first!

    I don't mind still hanging out in the Toyota forums. I still like Toyota and had a blast in my Tacoma. If toyota gets more power and economy out of their trucks I will come back in a few years.

    I have checked out the ford forums but it is all eco vs 5.0 crap. They don't have near the info TW does.
