    yes its possible and has been done quite a few times..just not really documented here at TW.

    if you go to yotatech.com, pirate4x4 in the toyota section, or even TTORA you'll find a lot of great tech info and write ups on the conversion

    Lurk on places like TTORA where a lot of people do SAS swaps on their trucks. You can score the 4wd front end parts pretty cheap, and it would be a pretty easy swap as everything will just bolt in.

    Just did this on my double cab...pretty straight forward. Even from a cash perspective it was cheaper for me to do it than find a 4x4.
