This is too weird. Guess what I did yesterday.

    IMG_2645_d303406aad6f7f98d755a5a7d74d705f49cb8c20.jpg

It was all gunked up. I was having to manually push the latch closed. Wiped it all down (as much as possible), then "washed all the contact points with WD40. Wiped off the excess and followed that up with a light oil lubricant on everything expect for the outer latches which got some red 'n tacky.

    IMG_2643_34c845c1e762f1061f99a5c9d54ff19a8cefd077.jpg

The tailgate opens and closes much smoother now. However, the handle still seems to stick out just a little bit too much.

Picked up a shot diff from a local guy on TTORA for $50. I'll be re-gearing to 5.29s so it's ok that's chewed up a bit. :D

That's what mine looks like however it's flush on the passenger side and only sticking out on the driver's side.

    I wonder what's up?

Had a few days of dry weather so I got a fresh coat of paint on my sliders and bumpers last night where they were all scratched from a season of wheeling. Timing was perfect since I woke up to some new snow this morning. Gotta keep it all from rusting during the winter months.

On the previous page I explained what I did to make mine like that...

...I'm just curious if there's a way to fix it?

Purely cosmetic so not of true importance for me.

Today, I found out that I could have gotten my wheels about 2 months ago if it weren't for the retarded sales guy (my buddy, in fact. lol) at discount tire. It turns out that he ordered a wheel that is for "export only" and that's why we never got it shipped in. Soooooo, now that he's ordered the right wheels, I should be seeing 6 of them (2 spares baby!) in 2-3 weeks. Hopefully they actually come in this time...... :(

Replaced the heater control illumination bulbs with red colored L.E.D.s

I brain farted when I ordered them but the red is a nice change. Gives the heater control a para-military look.

Then my gear indicator (it's auto) bulb got jealous and quit working. Ordered up enough red L.E.D.s to hopefully get the dash and gearshift indicator converted over. Tactical illumination FTW :p
