    Went and picked up the transmission and front driveshaft for $220, now just need to find the rear driveshaft so i can at least get the tranny in, does anybody know if the pre runner speed sensor will fit in the 4x4 ?

    I have some info on my build that may help you... It just depends what the transmission came out of. The 4runners speed sensor ran off of the ABS so you will have to get another speed sensor and a speed gear from toyota... nothing too bad. The conversion can be a pain, finding parts, etc... but it's worth everything in the end!

    Ive got the parts lined up just need a rear driveshaft and waiting on the speed sensor to come in, but gotta head back to college come Friday so it might be a couple weeks

    where are you guys ordering the speed sensors from and what are y'all paying for it ? I'm seeing around 130 online for just the sensor

    The price is about right on those... they aren't cheap. Why don't you just have your stock shaft cut and re-balanced?

    Just find a good shop that has a reputation, I haven't had any issues with mine so far.

    The speed sensor I needed was a Carquest part number 72-3872
