I am moving to schenectady the first of the year. I see more taco owners from there than anywhere it seems.

Yah same... it is literally ridiculous. I bet something like 10-20% of all vehicles on the road here are Tacomas. I see 10+ a day & I'm not doing a lot of driving either. I'm really jealous of a few & surprised I haven't met more from the area here.

It does speak about the truck though. I can pound out hills in 2ft of snow like I did last year while dodging sliding lexus's and other SUV's. Having said that, the Michelin LTX A/T tires are boss.

I maybe see 1 tacoma a week in south Philadelphia.

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
we finally got a dusting of snow here. it will melt by noon today but at least it's encouraging.

I can't believe I've missed this thread. Naples NY here, south of Rochester about 50min. Right around the corner from Freebird. I'm up for a meet, but winter is tough for me. I do HVAC in the area. Warmer weather frees me up a bit. 50cal. is "nearby" too. Been trying to get out to Freebird's place, but my timing sucks. Haven't heard from him in a bit. His unit may be in the field, or deployed. Him and some friends are getting a fab shop going too.

Grew up in Fairport, mom is still in the same house so I get there a bit too.

I don't drink (anymore:D), but I wouldn't mind going out there for food and/or soda!

    Anyhow...HI!

Wow this little snow storm they've been talking about for a week must have taken the DOT by surprise. Not a plow or salt truck in sight this morning on my hour long drive home from work. Usually it take about 20 minutes but today an hour. Didn't mind just wondering why now road maintenance.

    :notsure:

Same here. WTF? They've had a month and a half of no snow to get ready. You'd think they would've been prepared for this shit.
