    fluid film

Im thinking about using on the chasis (the website says it'll be good for a year).

Does the Fluid Film collect dust/dirt?

ANybody tried it long enough to see if it will fade color on the shock top caps or even yellowing the body of the shock?

I havnt seen any ill effects on my shocks. Anything it "Collects" will wash off by spraying with water when you wash truck.

Maybe contact a marine service and ask what they do for boats and so on. I think they use mostly stainless steel.

I spray mine with wd40 or similar whenever I think of it. I just spray and walk away..

Interested in the fluid film stuff. I PM'd the guy on here that sells it but I haven't decided if I should call him and order it.

Waiting to hear what other people think of it.

I like the idea of fluid film. Wonder what the actual compound is?

For a lot of small applications of this type (battery terminals, bolts, etc.) I just manually apply petroleum jelly. Greasin' up yer whole suspension would be a major PITA though and attract too much dirt.

I say try the fluid film, or any kind of aerosolized petrolatum you can find.

hell yeah it adds a layer of protection i figure, i spray my shocks with it and area's that get scratched up commonly on the cage. just spray it on and leav it. looks pretty too haha. but its easy and works, im sure silicon spray works too

I Boeshield T9'd the shit outta mine today. It's my first time using it, but it went on real nice. Spread itself out to a nice uniform glossy covering. I'm expecting good results, I mean it's fucking made by Boeing...
