    Thanks! At first I HATED it, because it was more of a girl color to me being a powder blueish...but after I got it painted (same color) I really grew on me...The new paint really made it look more metallic grey/blue. Plus you dont see many tacos in that color

    Blackdawg and mexicant on here have the same color...only others I know of.

    One other great thing about the color is that it stays clean, and scratches dont show well.

    Yeah, color code 926. IIRC It was offered in 95-97 as "Lavender Steel Metallic" And in 98 as "Cool steel metallic" (guess they had to make it a bit more masculine...lol)

    It does hide scratches well. :D Also to the OP if you break a few tabs it's no biggie. I think I have half of what it originally did since taking the the grill off a few times. Those extra clips are just dead weight. :cool:

    i just went to the toyota dealer and bought 11 of the plastic clips today, so i can obliderate the plastic ones on there and not need to use zip ties or duct tape to hold it on. being at the toyota dealer almost made me want to drive a new taco or an fj....but it wasnt worth it, im perfectly fine with my 1st gen. however if i could put the interior of a 2nd gen in a first gen i would have the best truck in the world:cool:
