Welcome! Are you 2wd or 4wd? We get together quite a bit all around the valley on a pretty regular basis for in-town meets and trail runs.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Right now the black mamba is bone stock. I hope to get my pricey 6" lift, rims and tires after the first of the year.

Ill post pics of it then. Im sure no one want to see a stock truck at this point.

But i'll do a before and after thing.

    Thx

Hahaha no way. That's crazy man. Yeah I know your truck. I always see it. I akways wondered if you were a enthusiast. I was going to put a note on your truck along with the white single cab work taco and the blue double cab that's occasionally there. I live in the back units at the round a bout on the first floor. Unit 1082. Stop by sometime.

And don't worry. With This site, and with me in the same complex, your truck won't be stock long. :D

    Welcome to the site man.

You may want to do some more research on lifts first... most of the 6" lifts are absolutely horrible if you want to actually wheel the truck. Ask Patrick his thoughts on the matter haha.

    Thank you sr.
I have been doing a ton of research...

Like I told Moose1988 (Josh) I will definitely post on here before i decide so i can see what you all think.
Its not a 4x4 unfortunately. Didn't think I would want to get a new truck all beat up and didn't know anyone that 4x4'd. But you never know...I would rather be outdoors f'n around then inside anyday. Even still I want a good lift with a nice ride.

Trade It in for a 4x4! Lol. Jk man. Since yours is a pre runner.. i wouldnt go more than 3".. maybe even billies to level it out. Your ride will be stiffer regardless what lift you put on it, and your not really getting anything out of It... wheeling wise. So to me, it would be a waste to throw a DB lift on it.. all you would get out of it is a stiffer ride, less power, and worse mpg. I'd go billies or a smaller lift atleast. You could put a ARB locker in the rear for a little more traction. This is all IF you wanted to wheel It. If your positive you wont, and really want the looks, go with a lift. In the end, its your truck and you should do what you want and what makes you happy.

Billies suck, at least go the OME route...

Also remote resies setup right can actually be a smoother and softer ride. Just say'n.

Agreed.. they dont suck. LOTS of people run them and recommend them. Especially for people that just want to level the truck and not spend close to a grand on resi's just to accomplish that. Even more so if he isn't going to wheel it.
