Kyle just volunteered. I'll send Paul a text and let him know since he is internetless.

We can pull the front first and then go.

I was looking to just pull the shocks, zip tie the spindle to the UCA and then go. Get the shocks done. Then come back and replace the UCA and new shocks on. If we are moving quick, then we may go ahead and do the new UCA's and then go. The shop isn't available until 9, but it will take 20 minutes to drive out there.

I really wish I'd had someone who had done UCA's on a taco before when I did mine. Dealing with the sheet metal and that 11" bolt was a PITA having never done it. Shop was right down the street, so I dropped my shocks / springs off and went back home to do the UCA's, thinking, "eh, it'll be like 15-20 min per side." Hahahahahahaha. I wish.

Good luck this weekend though guys. Pics afterwards!

When we did mine, it took us less time to do both UCA's than it did Kyle to mount two bolt on step bars. Should take about one hour.

Yeah, man having done it once before and knowing where / how much you gotta bend sheet metal would really help. There was a lot of trial and error, mostly error, when I did mine, lol.

o c'mon kyle have a little faith in me and brian. afterall youve seen or heard about how many times the two of us have torn down the front end of one of these trucks so it should be fairly straightforward. think this will make like number 6 or 7 for me. be the third time me and brian have worked together on one.

But UCA's are a different story and you're gonna need the "I don't care I just want to get it done!" attitude that "The Stig" had!!! LOL!

When we are done Justin, we can post up the results. Might even reuse a pic Kyle put up a few pages back.
