    Here is the craigslist ad:

For sale 1998 Toyota Tacoma extended cab 4x4 3.4 v6 auto transmission. 122k miles. nice interior. ps, pb, air, cruise, tilt, stereo, power locks and windows and rear diff. lock. runs very good uses no fluids. lots of power. body is solid with some dents and scratches. the frame is RUSTY i repeat RUSTY. Will need fixed very soon and not for the
meek. This is a job for welder/ fabricator. rebuilt title and abs lite is on. has good brakes though. good for crawler project or that Tacoma with 250k needing drive train. 31x10.5x15 tires at 40 % price is $2600 firm ( motor alone at salvage yard $2000) no trades no spam CALL ONLY IF YOU HAVE CASH AND ARE TRUELY INTERESTED

The guy is asking $2600 for it. I'm strongly considering buying it and then possibly flipping it once evertyhing is fixed up. With a good frame and keeping in mind it has a rebuilt title, what would you say its worth?

It's worth that I would say. Once it's fixed probably like $6.5k.

OP if you buy this and take it to Toyota they will only give you what you paid for it if they deem it unsafe. You should be a good samaritan and ask the seller if he's had it checked for the recall.

That's the stripper I hired last night. And to think I could have used the money to mod the taco.
