    Hi
I have a question, what is the name of the module that use to connect the steering wheel control to the stereo head unit? and what brand name is the best? Please advice.
Also where I can get the wire harness for the 2009 wire harness? I go to scosche.com cannot find any for the 09 model.
Please give me some light, so I can do the stereo mod. Thanks:D

For what it is worth I talked to a guy at a shop and he said they dont have the specs for the 09 yet. They only have specs for the 2008 but they installed one on an 09 and he said it worked.

Dude, what language are you typing? I think you are looking for an aftermarket adapter for the OEM steering wheel controls to a Puoneer headunit, correct?

Yes, I am looking for the OEM steering wheel controls to a Pioneer headunit, not Puoneer headunit.:D
But do I really need that for the Pioneer AVIC-D3?

Thanks for the info, I think I find what I need to get it start, wire harness, PAC-SWI-PS & the mounting kit for the head unit.
Now I think I need the color code for the Tacoma stereo wire harness. Anyone know where I can find it?

just curious as to why you need the factory wire colors? do you plan on cutting the factory harness? If you are putting an aftermarket radio in you just simply get a toyota wiring harness from metra and the colors match from the aftermarket to the toyota harness from metra.

i have a pioneer f900bt with xm using the factory xm antenna. also soldered a rca wire into the factory backup camera so it shows on the double din. the metra plug works just fine for the 2009.

Also where I can find the back up cameras wire harness? I want to hack into the wire harness and hook it up to the head unit.

Haha, nice. :D Typing on an iPhone is sometimes awkward.

I bought a PAC steering wheel control adapter for my Pioneer HU. Unfortunately, for me, my HU is the one series that they aren't compatible.

I also reccommend against this. The harness makes it much easier to go back to OEM if you sell the truck or some other reason, and it makes for a cleaner install.
