btw op how much longer is this going on sorry if it was mentioned already?

i'm in for a set after christmas and i was wondering if you could send them sprayed in black line-xtra? or just ship them bare and i can take them and have them done?

Ok guys,

I have had 11 people out of the 20 pay. So I placed the order this morning. I ordered the whole 20 of them. If I don't hear from those on the list by paint time, I will move on to the next in line and fill those orders. Lead time for the supplier is 2 to 3 weeks to get me the lids and about 1 week for prep and paint. I will let everybody know as soon as I have a tracking number and they are on their way to me so I can do my magic.

For those guys with 2012's. I had a more indepth conversation with the supplier and he needs a set of 2012 headlights to use as a mold. He usually finds a good set at a local wrecking yard and picks those up. It is too cost ineffective to buy a set from the dealer. As soon as somebody has wrecked truck and wants to sell their lights, or he finds a good set locally then we will have lids. Sorry I don't have a more definative answer as far as time goes. As soon as I have lights to give him, we will have lids for everybody.

I'll scotch tape mine on tomorrow for a pic but I'm not setting them until I complete my retro this weekend being that I have to put my light in the oven.

I have 4 different styles to choose from Sleep, T1, T2, T3 If you read through out the thread and specifically post #22, you will see pictures of the different styles avaliable. You just need to decide which style fits you best, and let me know via PM.

 

That is a sweet looking truck and those lids do look awsome! To everybody else get some pictures posted. Asap lets see them. Come on, dont be bashfull...

 

No worries, I didn't want to leave everybody else that has followed thru and paid, to get left out hanging forever for somebody else that isn't paying attention. I also figured that I have had enough people that are interested in these that I shouldn't be sitting on these for too long anyways.

As soon as my homertaco grill arrives, I will post some more pics up of my taco with the lids and grill combo. These will look sweet with that grill choice.
