    FX retros, Blazer fog-light retro, JVC KW-NT30HD head unit, Pioneer 6X9's in front doors, Pioneer 6.5's in rear doors, two Pioneer 12" subs in sealed boxes, Sony X-Plod amp, Hidden Hitch trailer hitch, EGR window visors, two PIAA low-tone horns, Westin light bar with two 100-watt KC low profile driving lights.
    For anyone considering the return-wire-down mod:

    Removing the little bump is very easy, use an Exacto knife or a Dremel tool.

    Removing the little bump does not make the bulb "loose" or anything, the gasket holds it firmly in place.

    The amount of light output is noticeably increased and there are no artifacts produced that you need to be concerned with.

    I finished up my blazer retro today along with the wire down mod... Overall it wasnt too complex of a retro. The only thing left is setting the vertical adjustment tonight.

    It’s hard to tell right now, I just set them at the same height for now andwill do the final adjustment tonight ones it gets dark. Damn its windy outside!I want to do a FXR retro and sell my Morimotos, do you have any advice as faras how to set the horizontal adjustment. I have heard of people getting them inthere with minimal trimming on the reflector bowl…. I know you’ve done a set ortwo of FXR’s

    Busted CV boots and lots of squeaks.
    Sub'd. Hey Ant, what did you use to "glue" the projector to the fog housing, and how did you align them in the bowl so they are staright/level with the mountings? I imagine some sort of epoxy. Also, is it possible to seperate the fog housings like the Headlights, to paint the reflector bowls black? That might be pretty cool.

    JB Weld. For alignment, look at the projector.. it has 2 prongs that stick out.. align that to the lines of the housing on the back of the fog light. You'll see what I'm talking about when you look at it :)

    Yes, it is possible to separate the housing via dremel. It is not held together like our headlights therefor, you cant bake n separate. Check out Pugga's thread. He went that route and added a shroud as well. :)
